What do we do with the baby?

Hello,

We are getting ready to file the I-751 for my wife next month and are getting read up and prepared. My question is about our new baby and the I-751. He was born here in the US. The form says to list children, but I can't figure if it wants all children listed, or just those that will also be looking to remove conditional status. Does anyone know the answer?

I'm leaning towards writing him down and answering

5. Is child living with you? yes

6. Is child applying with you? no

Was on the old form, had to list eight kids with a separate sheet of paper. Stepdaughter was the only one with an alien number and the only one living with us. So we put her on the top of the that section.

With only one child, should be easier, and since born in the US, will not have an alien number. Instructions state to list all children. Stepson was second on the line, was ignored by the USCIS, no alien number. Couldn't petition for him, was over 21 years of age.

Must be a strange feeling to be an immigrant struggling to stay here and to have a child that doesn't have to go through all this, because was born here. After awhile, really hits home, only thing that is important is your place of birth, something that none of us has any control over.
