Erred In the form DS260

If you're DV-2015, then call or email KCC and ask them to unlock your form. Unlocking may take a few weeks.

If you're DV-2014, then you have to mail in new forms. You can still call KCC to find out the procedure.

If the error is minor and not intentional, then it shouldn't affect your visa. If it is an error in certain data (country of birth, marital status, dependents, etc.), even if it wasn't intentional, then it may affect or completely disqualify your visa.

Hi, i made an error too : in the previous institute attended i wrote by error the course of study in the "Address line 2" which it is optional!!!!

i don't think is a big deal but seems the KCC is looking for any excuse to refuse applicants,

Please guys is this an error that i need to be worry about!??

BTW i wrote the course of study in its correct field too (so i wrote it twice!!)

May20th : checked the dv and got selected (got exited)

That's not a big deal so no need to worry. You can always request to unlock the form to correct it. Even if left as is, its easy for a human reading the form to understand what you did and see its not a big issue.

KCC is not really looking for any excuse to refuse applicants. That is one of the biggest misconceptions of the DV. They are looking for valid reasons to disqualify applications, but not simple errors like this on non-crucial data.
