I can't figure out why some people don't see this. There are tons of stories where somebody uses racial slurs or homophobic language and then swear they're not racist/homophobic. They act all shocked when someone calls them racist because you call a black woman a dirty ape or when you call a gay person the f word.

Because they lack the finesse to come out clean and admit their own fear and ignorance, or at least question their own prejudices.

It is no different than when and old person swears on sweet Jesus' name that they have never been racist, despite the fact that they still use a certain particular word when referring to blacks in general - bless their hearts - just because that is the word their parents and grandparents used before them, bless their hearts.

FFS ? Don't you understand satire? Isn't your first language English , Marvin ;)

(See Gary's accusations against me to get this joke)

Because it was a joke Marvin! Don't you know that it's fun, and not racist at all, to be racist, and then say "Just kidding!" Anyone who realizes what is going on is a communist! Plus, you can't be racist if you are married to an Asian woman. VJ taught me that too.

This was a lesson learned by many. Until the wise musings of VJ, I never knew.

Perfectly justifiable, given Canadian, not English nor english, must be your first language...:rofl::rofl:

I have been brushing up on the Canadian language, mainly the dialect of Ontario, in preparation of my wife's family coming to visit in 2 weeks. Thank goodness for Rosetta Stone.

Sure, but can you speak it with the affectation of the Ankara lilt at the end of every word. while dropping the articles and using plurals for every case?
