No email received from NVC!

Hi all,

I just filled out my Choice of an Agent form, but i didn't receive email notification that it was available. I just happened to go in and check and see if it was available and it was. I also didn't receive any email confirmation of the form being completed to either email that i requested it be sent to. Not to my inbox or spam folder.

Has this happened to anyone else before? If email is the way that they communicate, I have a real problem since they are not sending any.

When can I expect the AOS bill to be ready to be paid?

It doesn't matter if they send you an email saying to fill it out or not, if it's there do it.

The AOS will take within 1-10 business days from the case numbers.

i also filled out my ds 261 without any email notification, i check the web it was there and i filled, i called them and they said that they received my ds 261, but till now i have not received any confirmation email

they send my AOS bill and we have paid and on the site it said PAID

so i'm waiting for IV bill

It doesn't matter if they send you an email saying to fill it out or not, if it's there do it.

When can I expect the AOS bill to be ready to be paid?

NVC has not been very prompt in sending out emails. So it is better to use the more inefficient and wasteful technology - telephone. But for the NVC processes like submitting forms and paying the AOS and IV bills, keep checking the website to find out if they have been 'enabled' and you are able to submit. Here is the order of doing business:

1. Submit DS-261 - done

2. Pay the AOS invoice - when available.

3. Mail the AOS package - when AOS money has been drawn from your bank a/c

4. Pay the IV invoice - when available.

5. Mail the IV package (civil docs) - when IV money has been drawn from your bank a/c

6. Submit the DS-260 - when available.

After that wait..... not as long as we waited at USCIS but a matter of 7~ 10 days (usually) for a Case Complete. At this stage call NVC to find out

a. If they have approved your AOS and IV packages?

b. If your case is complete?
