I have a question.

I just received an email from nvc and they want me to pay iv fee of 325$ ... I have read somewhere that the fee is 255, i was just wondering why this amount... And whats next... Can i submit all my paperwork after i pay?

What should i include in the package...

Thank you

Fee was raised from $230 to $325. Yes you can except the ds-260 which is online and will show up after the IV bill shows paid.

You can print the bar code page right away, just like with the AOS. I would wit for it to clear your bank. When it says paid and the DS260 shows you can do that. About 60 days for them to review the package.

Ds-261 takes 30-40 days to be put on the casefile so it takes that long or longer to get the IV invoice. Paitience is a necessity in immigration. NVC wants entire package together. By the time you pay the IV fee you can get the whole package (IV and AOS) reviewed. Send the package -everything- now.

I finally received the bill to pay for the IV application ($230.00). It took approximately 3 weeks form the time I submitted my AOS. I hope this helps gauge processing times.

AOS and IV are never linked,

so what was the duration from DS-261 submittal and IV Fee Availability?

I ask, cause these are the two data points that are important. Not anything with AOS.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

what kind of help are you seeking?

I ask, because

unless and until

the DS-261 is detached and added to the casefile,

the IV Fee Bill will never be invoiced.

Once the DS-261 is added to the casefile, it's 3 to 5 days after, the IV stuff is available.

what do you mean, exactly, when you write this?

ds 261 choice of address and agent form -current status -completed

completed = what? submitted? detached? added to casefile? NVC TeleOperator confirmed date of added to casefile?

Please help me i am at Last step I paid AOS and IM fee I am sending This package and supporting document to NVC I am sending them Mail.

you are mixing IV and AOS documents? Why ?

I didn't write that, but I see the same thing, so I can comment on it:

In the CEAC portal, "Completed" is exactly what it says under current status, so there's no interpretation happening on our part as applicants. Your guess is as good as mine as to how that corresponds to the terms you're using: "detached," etc. No idea. The term is coming from NVC's website, not me.

According to the instructions on the VisaJourney "NVC Process" walkthrough, though, once that portal says "completed" for status of DS-261, you should be set to receive the IV invoice. Like others here, I submitted DS-261 about a month ago. Not sure when the status changed to "completed," but it's there now, so I'm just hoping the IV invoice appears sooner rather than later.
