Awaiting the Visa by home delivery - ID requirements...

Hi everyone - I got approved today!! YAY!

Just a question about the visa delivery. It seems that I need my ID to receive the visa at home. Can I leave my ID with someone else to collect it, or do I have to be physically present? Only I'll be out all day (stag night!)... does this affect things?

Thanks for any advice!

They actually rarely ask for ID, but you can leave identification, a credit card, something showing you live at the address with the person who will be at home, on the chance you get the new driver who is following the rules to ask for ID.

I got mine sent to my parents place, left my driving licence with them as I was not around. Delivery bloke did not ask for anything.
