Has any one had any experience dealing with this. Was 18 at the time when it happen in 2008 its been 6 years since. will I get approved or is it point less going for an interview anyone From Jamaica can advise me on what to do

You should definitely get a copy of the disposition to take to interview,

its not hopeless but U may have to file an I 601 waiver they will hand

U the 221G to send with waiver, make sure its disclosed even if U were

under 18 or a little over, it should be on your paper-work, If U R in JA

call or have someone go to the court U went to for this paper-work.

The I601 is not just a form U fill out or DIY matter have your fiancée

consult with an atty in the US, also the waivers cost $585 and is sent

to Lockbox in Phoenix, only after interview....it is doable, time & patience

if one is required...but if the CO consider it not falling (case) under moral

turpitide U may not even need a waiver...just to be honest about the case

if you were convicted or arrested and there is a report you will have to do a 601 waiver. bring everything related to the incident when u go to the interview and don't lie. Don't worry about getting denied, if you can apply for waiver count your blessings. I had to do one and got approved and is now in the process of returning home.

If the case falls under moral turpitide it will be

classified a felony, of its falls under a misdemeanor

depending (depending on larceny amt) and the only

arrest the CO can find U don't need a waiver, however

U MUST have disposition on this case at interview.
