less than a Month ? Not sure I ever heard one that quick. 3-4 or more months is the norm

Believe me I was surprised as well and had to put my butt in gear to make sure my fiancée had all her stuff ready and advise her of the next steps that are coming up. Now its down to the wire and the day we are both waiting for. "I" day (interview day) which is in 5 days. All the craziness comes down to this day.

Two things worked well for Candy at her interview. First she dressed well. I know some have written here that it doesn't matter, but she could not help noticing the CO glancing quickly over things that other ladies who were not well dressed got grilled on, like your emails and Skype logs and photos. Maybe her manner of dress did not help, but it sure did not hurt.

Also be interactive. Don't wait for the CO to ask for things. For example when he asks you how do you communicate, when you talk about Skype chats, pull out your printout of the Skype log and offer it to him.

Also as Hank says, be relaxed and look the CO in the eye.

Candy breezed through her interview, so she must have done something right, You should do the same.

It took us 51 days, with 13 days to address an RFE *sigh*, to receive NOA2 from USCIS through CSC. Then 10 days for case to reach NVC. Now we are just waiting there. But, from what I understand, even with fast processing times at USCIS, there still may be difficulty in getting an appt at USEM quickly.

I just checked the status at CEAC and we are already on the way to USEM. Wow that was fast (like 3 days fast)!!! They say they provided an interview date, but from my understanding for K-1 or at least for USEM we have to schedule the appointment our self? Is that correct?

You are correct K-1 schedule their own interview dates, not NVC. NVC gives bad info quite often regarding the K-1.

As a K-1 you need to sign up for your own interview. Keep on top of the website, as interview slots lately have been in short supply, so you need to jump on one or someone else will beat you to it.

Also if you are in Manila or have easy access to it, do your medical now so if an interview date pops up that is too short to get your medical done, you will be prepared and can grab that date. St Luke's does not normally give you your med without an interview date, but they are making an exception now for this exact reason.

You can get the medical done without an interview date, no issue, never has been an issue. To keep St. Luke's happy simply email NVC requesting your MNL # (even if you already have it) then when NVC replies forward that email to your fiancee so that she can print two copies for St. Luke's to keep them happy. All is good.

Thanks a lot cause everything now leads up to this. Its crazy all of the work you do and all of the faxing, mailing , paying fees, stress, lost of sleep lol, all leads up to a 3-5 minute interview. This is crazy.

After a few crazy days my fedex docs made it to manila in 3 days without a problem. The possible problem is that a lot of fedex workers that are local don't know you can mail documents to phil. When they do the international bar code on the fedex slip there is nothing that comes up for phil but you have to call the 800 number to fedex and talk to international dept. FedEx work with 2go services and they have a location right across the street from the airport. And for other info they don't use the city manila you have to use Pasay, ph. The local fedex lady said "well I hope your documents make it otherwise you many never see it for a while". But everything went just fine. In fact as soon as they got the package after it went thru customs they text my fiancée which is very important you have her name and cell phone number on the package slip, and my fiancée called them and they told her they have a package for her from me and when would she like to pick it up and they gave her directions to get the package. WHEW...I was sweating this one cause it had my I-134 form and taxes etc. so this package had no room for errors.

Everything is all good and I can sleep now for a couple of days at least until the "BIG DAY". I will post what happen at the interview etc. cause I know your fiancée interview is about a week after ours.

It is stressful, but we're excited. I sent over a few chats and remittance copies in facebook messenger for her to print. Should be good to go after that. Keep us informed on the good news!

We just received the noa1 hardcopy yesterday June 5. Our application is being processed at tsc which will probably last for 5 months. :(

We're hoping that they will also expedite our application. *praying*

We went through Texas, and NOA1 was Feb. 28 to NOA2 which was May 1--not long. The longest and most stressful part was looking every day for an interview date--that took from May 18 to May 30. You'll be fine.
