I just received the same notification for my EAD being ordered for production. Is this normal? Now it says they ordered the card production on the 28th.

I got an email notification yesterday that "your address was changed relating to the I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION that you filed".

I did not change my address. When I check online, the consensus is that this means that my petition has been approved and it should move into production in the next couple of days. I will wait until Wednesday before calling them and asking.

Also, today I checked my I-131 status, which I sent on August 8, and it says that "we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT".

So, I guess they probably approved both at the same time, and I am hoping to receive a combo card in the next two weeks.

I was just logging in to say the same thing! I received my first Notification yesterday saying it went into production on the 28th. I just received another update today saying that it went into production today on the 29th. I'm not sure what's going on I just hope it hurries up and gets here lol!

EAD/AP approved on Aug 27th and 28th respectively!

Whoo! Now just interview in a couple weeks and we'll be through with this.. wow!

Typically the whole process takes roughly 5-6 months. It seems to be going a lot quicker lately. It really all depends on how backed up your local office is and when they scheduling appointments now. I wouldn't be surprised if you got your interview date in the mail soon, unless your lawyer knows someone there that is telling him/her that Detriot is backed up and that's what they're going by telling you Dec. I filed on the 13th and recieved my interview date about 2 weeks ago so it's possible you could be hearing back from them in the next week.

Speaking of interviews! Ours is in 3 days! I have to spend the next day or 2 putting stuff together to bring with us! Starting to get nervous even though I don't think we have anything to worry about!

The lawyer originally said it was taking around 3-4 months, it was his clerk who told us December. I just received word that my EAD is on it's way, hopefully I'll get some word on my interview this month. Good luck with yours

It all depends how busy is your field office, depending on that they will schedule your interview and there is not specific time. I checked on USCIS website and my local office showed to be quite slow processing AOS interview, then I was schedule for mine fairly quickly which makes me thing there might be a glitch on the website. When we consulted two different lawyers, both gave us an average of 5-6 months for our field office and we had set up our mind for that, thankfully we didn't have to wait that long. Good luck to everyone waiting for the interview!

I keep forgetting to update this because I haven't been receiving my text/email updates from USCIS :/

Anyway, we received the EAD card about a week or so ago =D.

Our interview is on September 4th as well, @kcros. We're going to start gathering up all the paperwork and evidence to bring to the interview. I'm not what they'll specifically ask for. I'll let you guys know how it goes afterwards
