Hi everyone I need some assistance from the Ghana members. My fiance was given a new interview date due to a RFE given at the interview.Apparently his name on his birth certificate and passport didn't match. We had that fixed last week. He was also asked to submit more evidence of our relationship. I didn't want him to have a box of information for our nearly three year relationship therefore I only sent call records and whatsapp messages from maybe one week from each month. I also sent copies of the envelopes from our mail correspondences. My fiance told me that the CO asked for facebook etc. however we rarely chat on facebook. we mainly talk on the phone (daily) and whatsapp daily. I've been in Ghana for about two weeks now and will submit evidence from this trip. My question is should I just print out all communication from our relationship and have him to bring it to the interview? Thanks in advanced.

I know you said you mostly speak on the phone and whatsapp (same as us) but, Do you have any photos of you totgether? Or skype records? Have you talked to any of his family or friends before? Maybe they would be willing to write a letter of support stating that they know you and your relationship, etc.?

I have talked to his family and friends. I lived in Ghana for a year and during that time I visited his family several times. I also submitted pics with his family and friends. I think the issue may have been that before this current visit I hadn't seen his since 2012 but this is an assumption. After I leave Ghana I'l be sure to Skype him daily and submit that as evidence.

Hello,

I had the same issue regarding phone records and etc. I sent them a monthly communications on every we used even if it was a little. Also I got statements from my husband's family to support us. Because of them questioning my absence, I wrote them a statement with evidence on the reasoning I could not come back until 2014. My husband and I got married in 2012 and I wasn't able to come back to Ghana until 2012 for a visit. So that detailed statement explained the reason why I wasn't able to come back sooner.

I hope this helps.

The suggestions about letters from family really helps. Could you all provide an example?

It's just a letter written from the heart on how they have watched your relationship grow and that they are in support of it

and how they have enjoyed interacting with you and seeing your love develop into what it is now.

There is no sample letter, it is different from each person's perspective and observing the flow of the relationship.

CO requested FB communication so even if you have little, submit it along with as much as you have.

Better to bring more than not enough, bring a variety of different communincation, yahoo, skype, FB, what'sup, phone etc,

some CO's do not accept phone apps communication.
