Expediting EAD--does this mean EAD/AP combo card?

Hello,

I just received the notice that my i-485, i-130, and EAD/AP applications have been received and are processing. I am planning on trying to expedite the EAD on the basis of needing it to continue to work at my current job (though I realize this may be a long shot).

My question is, if it is approved, will the entire EAD/AP combo card be expedited, or will they send me a separate paper for just the EAD?

Also, is it possible to request an EAD expedite so early in the process (right after the application has been received)?

My expedite request was approved and I received the combo card. When you request an expedite, you will have an opportunity to give details on why you need to have your card expedited. Mine was my wife was struggling to support us both and my job wanted me to come back to work. It was also 92 days since my application was accepted.

I believe they process expedite requests on a case by case basis so all you need to do is make a strong case for its approval.

They won't accept an expedite request until at least 30 days after they receive the application.
