This is a bit odd and I haven't seen others with a similar situation after doing a search. They usually have to do with a US citizen.

So, my cousin divorced his wife before emigrating to the US, sponsored by his dad. My uncle didnt want to sponsor her anyway so it didnt bother him at all. My cousin is a permanent resident. He divorced his ex-wife because she comes from a modestly wealthy Chinese family and they didnt want her to move here and basically be living poor for a couple of years until my cousin could learn English and get a better job (he's employed as a cook). She didn't want to come here and work in lower pay jobs since her English is basic.

Since she was a partying type, my cousin got custody of their son as well and they came here together. It's been 3 years now. They still talked over the phone every 2 weeks. She has changed her mind and wants to remarry my cousin and be with her son. Supposedly she is more mature now.

Is there any law against remarrying her and petitioning her spoilness to come here now?

No, that is perfectly ok. They will probably get some extra questions about their bonafides to make sure they are not just re-marrying to get her the greencard and then divorcing again.
