I've had dura meshwiyya both in Egypt and here (my ex used to cook it a lot on the grill). Corn here is MUCH better! The corn they use in Egypt is like feed corn. When I told Moh how we eat it here...boiled with butter...he made a face and said, SICK!!!

oh wow i forgot about how they sell cooked corn on the cob on the street! Has anyone tried it? I can't eat corn unless it's been boiled and has tons of butter and salt on it.

my favorite way to have corn (on the cob) is grilled on the pit w/ lime juice squeezed on it after!!! YUM!!!

actually if you wanna get right down to it my favorite way to eat corn is to mix the corn in flour and egg with some salt and pepper and deep fat fry big clumps of it and then smother that in maple syrup. lol

Since everyone has pics of there SO's home cities, I haven't seen any from Tangier so I went hunting for some. I'll post the ones that I took on my trip there when I get back in March.
