And this is awesome...

I noticed you've been away.

Hussein Mosque in Cairo, next to Khan Kahlili, the tourist market and across from Al Azhar. Supposidly contains part of the body of the Prophet's grandson Hussein. Husband and I got our rings from a shop at the back of the mosque and exchanged them while eating popcorn on the other side.

Looking out over the rooftops of Cairo. Satallite tv definately exploded since I first went to egypt in 2003. We had it in our apartment when I was there in 05, and we had more channels than I do at home!

Sorry to break up the Morocco party :innocent: I wanted to add some pics of Petra since its a contender for the New 7 wonders of the world. These arent my photos as I never got a chance to go there. It is by far the biggest regret of my trip :crying: We only had time to go to one place and I had to choose between Aqaba and Petra.....Aqaba won. :P

Hahahaha about the sarsur. But the ones we have in Texas are just as horrifying.

"Sarsur" is actually a common surname (or is it sarsurname ? :lol: ) in the West Bank.... they sure have some "interesting" family names there. Can you imagine going through life as Ahmed Cockroach ? :blink:

:lol::lol::lol: Ahmed Cockroach!!! :lol::lol::lol:

I have to concur about the roaches in Texas . . . I had one of those huge waterbugs attack me! They are sneaky . . . . and I hate it when you find one peaking at you out of the toilet! But flushing works wonder for getting rid of them, hehe!
