Hello All

I Need anyone with experience on this issue...

My wife is Colombian, her 11 year old daughter will be coming with my wife's mom, (my mother in law).. (the daughter's grandmother)

The question is surrounding the permission needed for her daughter to leave Colombia.. We have the fathers permission, but since my wife lives in the USA with me, what document can we prepare for the Colombian Authorities at the Airport giving my wife's permission for her daughter to travel to the USA with her grandmother?

Will a Signed and notarized letter by american notary work? do we need to go to Colombian Embassy to do this?

Need someone with experience with this very question to reply with your thoughts.

Please...
