Hello everyone...back to civilization...had 2 interviews one at PACE and one at NYU (same place as before, different floor pretty much)......not sure how either went. PACE guy seemed bored interviewing and there also seemed to have been some relationship strain between him and the director (and ya..that being so obvious from first in person interview probably not so good...) and then NYU....the director woman was condescending and later on when told she was being a b...tch said "well I am having a really bad day because of some people on the 10th floor" - shrugs...dunno....

gonna send out follow up emails tomorrow. Still tired from 12 hour car ride back from Vermont.

were there sing-a-longs in the car?

;)

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

there was dog barking and reading of random road signs

good food though all week long, got some red onion relish and strawberry rhubarb jam at the farmer's market...and hot pepper jelly. :D

took peter pan bus to NYC and had issues finding bus back to Springfield......in 20 mins before bus departure I was sent to 4 different places and ran around like a mad person sweating my butt off..which incidentally is not a bad thing (as you can see or have seen from the pics Steve posted)....either way...don't want to take bus again from Port Authority or with Greyhound/Peter Pan....

diet going well so far.

so annoyed right now...........

glad to know you're home safe Jada.

What kind of jobs are you looking for btw?

uh oh what happened...

thanks :)

I have been working in higher ed my whole life so obviously I was/am very focused on getting into the same field if for nothing else but the fact that I do have the experience and would find it hard to start from zero in corporate. My last job title was Program Manager of an MBA Humanitarian Program....so basically Program Administrator/Coordinator even Assistant/Associate Director for Intl. programs would work...around there....

So, my husband doesn't like this song:

Why are we married?

Cause we haven't heard back on this GD offer. in any way shape or form and were supposed to by 2pm

Already have hubs going to look at a new house, bigger price range, little farther, but in a nice spot (across from a park) and much bigger.

And have you tried out west here for universities or colleges? Colorado has some of the biggest growth in the country. But Texas, North Dakota, and DC are the highest.

:( meh sorry to hear...hopefully you will get some news soon. Good luck whichever way it goes :)

ya..no I applied everywhere. First, I concentrated on Columbus OH but within a month expanded my search to the entire US. The problem I see for Universities further away is that they have to make me come down for in person interview which is costly for me and complicated for them. Some even have a statement saying "we focus on hiring locally" and I get that but yes I have been applying all over.

Let's see what these two places come back with...

yes...I hurt my toes. Bad shoes and 12 mile walk/tripping over. This big toe actually got injured twice...once out walking and then when I tried taking shower (same day) a bottle of big shampoo bottle fell on the injured area...so that kind of sealed the fate of my toe nail.

hey...not ew...happens ! I dunno I am just a wuzz....have been working outside today and got about 10 bruises on each leg and some sort of scratches all over my hand....it is normal in J world :)

bruises may mean your anemic. becareful.

thanks. I will look into it..but I always bruised easily especially when I did more exercises or if I was exhausted lacking proper hydration. I just need a good amount of sleep and probably a lot more water than I had been having in the past 2 days while in the car. :)

I bruise easily too, so I get it. I am just lucky my toenails haven't taken a similar path, probably, since I've broken my toes a handful of times.
