You never know, we ended up going back to our FHA buyers after our cash buyers fell through.

I just realized it is almost 10, it stays so bright here so late.

Saturday GS report, see man:

Managed to awaken, prep, and out-sneak before Mrs. T-B. awakened, whee man. Had Many (5) GSs on the itinerary; however, 2 were invisible once sites were reached. Found Many or Many (3 or 4) more while driving. The incidental GSs were better than the planned ones. Got E. two toy trucks for $1, a candy-jar type thing from the Holiday Inn in Waterloo, IA for .50 (talked down from .Many), & two Many-packs (3-packs) of glue sticks for $1. Total expense = $2.50; combined with Friday, total expense = $Many ($3), $i man.

---

Saturday non-GS report, see man:

Took Mini-B. to his swimming class, where he was the best-behaved of his triad of googies, wee man. Then took "Mommy's car for a drink" (gas). Then went to Subway and ordered two Many-inch roasted-chicken sandwiches, which Mini-B. refused to eat; however, he polished off an entire bag of baked Cheaps, wee man. He refused to consider getting a haircut, so we went home.

Decided to mow lawn (not bright to start at 1:ManyMany p.m., no man). Air temperature was Many F.; heat index was >Many F. Managed to survive by virtue of not using insect-repellent (which impeded sweating); city had sent mosquito-trucks out last night, finally. Lawn looks mighty good, see man. Ripped skin on knuckle by virtue of Mrs. T-B.'s having parked the T-B.-mobile (borrowed for today's activities) too drattedly close to the other, sigh man.

Must now de-dish the warsher from not having been able to warsh dishes yestereve, si and no man; must run another half-load immediately afterwards as a result, sigh man.

Another thrilling Saturday in the 'hood, whee man.

Addendum to above, add man:

Besides the dishes, am (pre-Thread Laundress report imminent) warshing a VERY full load of completely gross dishrags, floor-towels (= Mrs. T-B.'s rag-on-a-stick cleanings), and mow-lawning apparel.

It will be quite a late night of waiting for everything to finish, sigh man; other day's effort to mollify the sick/tired Mrs. T-B. by warshing her pots (and leaving them in the dishwarsher overnight) resulted in the following dialogue tonight, sigh man:

T-B.: Exactly what in the dishwarsher is dirty, and what is clean, Cariño [sweetheart]?

Mrs. T-B.: I have no idea; let me think.

[pause]

Mrs. T-B.: The pots are clean; everything else is dirty.

T-B. [to self]: :bonk:

In addition, before Dishwarshing Load #1, both sides of sink were completely full; both drains were completely stopped up; silverware bin had cake-icing, spaghetti sauce, and remnants of Mini-B.'s rancid milk in it; and the jar of honey was open (leaning on the sink), leaking, with las hormigas de la casa (the kitchen ants) feasting, sigh man.

On the "bright" side (sigh man), Mrs. T-B. has informed me that she refuses to make my lunches next week, which means that only 2 spatulas will be used on Sunday night and 2 on Wednesday night (total = Many), versus the Many (8) used last week when Mrs. T-B. reluctantly made lunches on each of the Many out of the Many workweek days during which she forced herself to make a lunch, si and sigh man.

A few pics from the birthday party

Flash blinded her, and one of the few pictures of her as she doesn't sit still, and here she is flying around the house after swimming in the pool. Still full of energy.

Hmmmph... quiet as a dormouse, no Commie-babes...

Warsher is de-dished for second time; kitchen rags are baked but can stay unfolded till the morrow.

Cat is at feet, dozingly wanting attention. That, prep, zzz man.

Mornin', no Commie-babes!

I'm about to change over the laundry.

I'm trying to stay up because I work nights next week. /sigh

and the week after.. even though they conveniently left me off the schedule.

But on the plus side I'm done work on July 5th and at the very latest will we move in with a friend beginning of Aug (prefer it to be in our own place however ;) )

Kiddo is here mid July too.

Nope. :D

couldn't sleep past 5am despite going to bed at 2am. Today I have to nap so I can be up all night. My heart was just beating fast and I was worried. I keep wondering if I ask my realtor if submitting a letter with the offer would be a good idea, just saying who we are and why we would like the house so much.

We'll hear something by 5pm tomorrow, but gosh that's a long time away.

Many conditions will cause rapid beat/ palpitations (I learned that after I got married). For me, little sleep and lotsa caffeine will do it....

Submitting a letter? No

But if the owners are at home, it wouldn't hurt to tell them that they have a beautiful home in person.

Wise azz....

They don't live in it. It's empty right now. They were renting it out.

Likely it was waking up too early, too much caffeine last night trying to stay awake, and then stress... I'll nap later and keep hoping.
