I suggest that you really reconsider to pack all and stay at the Cabin till a job offer is tendered.

There's bound to be internet access in that locale somehow - so having a backpack is useful - you can lug the laptop into the free wifi zone each day and check your emails.

Plus the peace and quiet is, imo, something that'll help you recenter -- regroup -- refocus...

If you have to tell the toothless wonder anything - just ask him to drive a car (alone) up to retrieve you, bringing 2 bottles of astroglide...

there really is no internet up there...15 min drive to town with mc donald's even phones no work although landline there but i see your point...it is also closer to interviews since i keep getting them around NYC.....I might consider it once there...apparently the grandparents also paid enough to have very very good kitchen and bathroom there so..... could be way better in that respect..you making me think...

request a review by another human.

unless the house insurance amount is to cover the REPLACEMENT COST of the house if decimated by fire/flood/natural disaster/StevKlar's boogers..

It is to cover the replacement cost but doesn't cover flood or wind damage, the two most likely culprits, so we'd have to pay a flood/wind insurance on top of that. I don't really care if they think that is appropriate, 170,000 for the dwelling, 34,000 on top of that, so the replacement cost is like 204,000 which is just silly. Out there 204k would buy me a much bigger/nicer house. We'd be paying almost as much in insurance as we did on my dad's house, which was three times the size.

I'll go grumble to myself.

Yep. I am blond but have dark brown eyebrows ( naturally) . One hairdresser wanted to dye my eyebrows to match, but I refused. Eyebrows define a face IMO.

I always thought Frenchy was like Japanese....

So, I initially got a quote from State Farm at 1112 a year for house insurance (not including car discounts), and now it is like 1700 a year after they reviewed it. For whatever reason they jumped the property value from 90k to 170k, which seems excessive to me, being that the house is only worth 74.

Yeah, I don't really get why, either, but it will be another 400-600 or so probably for flood insurance.

I say pick up a phone and talk with a supervisor.

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

lol...ya....he tends to take the laid back approach to things....

although...he did say 4 sentences with regards to our relationship last night....that "we are not hopeless" that " he does not know how to fix things just yet" "he should not just walk out on me mid-talk because he cannot handle it" and that "he has nothing more to say at the moment"

(last two were over messenger since he did walk out lol)
