Let them sit in a few hrs of traffic in NYC for a few hours and see if they still want a manual. Or get a motorcycle.

There's about 2 new cars sold now that's available in a manual.

I can drive a manual, drink a coffee, text on cell, not wear my seat belt, and pick ma noze. All at the same time. And still not get a ticket. J is my proof! :)

Okay so Hubs and I decide, yes we want this house. I tell the realtor (nice guy btw) to turn up an offer and we'd get the ball rolling on the pre-approval. In the time it takes him to do up the offer contract, the house is now under contract and we're screwed. Sigh.

I found two more, not as nice of neighbourhoods (further from the reservoirs but one is close to a park), and further from hubs work, but I like the homes from the websites and they're about the same price. I'll show them to hubs and if he agrees, schedule a viewing.

I do find it interesting to see in person what you don't see in good photos, like a horrid bathtub, or a burned counter top.

No they shouldn't. LOL We can't afford more! I wish we could, but houses below 250k are being snatched up. We want to pay XX per month and that means about a 200k house. I really don't want to be reduced to buying a townhouse or apartment because the housing goes up too much.

In 3-5 years once I'm done school we can afford more, but not now.

This one wasn't the nicest and has been on sale since 5/14... Nice ones are gone in 2 days.

But then my ex and I sold our first house in less than 24 hours.
