showers are good.....so helpful. I wonder how to cook the chicken since it is supposed to be on skewers and grilled but we got no gas for grill or skewers.....hmmmm I guess pan it is.

cooking bag. put it in a cooking bag. don't have one? go buy one ! seals all the juices and you can use the broth for gravy later. whilst yer at it - throw in some carrots. and shallots. and parsnips - all into the cooking bag.

then put cooking bag into a baking pan. and bake it.

I never heard of a cooking bag...but this chicken is marinated in yogurt and paprika and tomato paste etc. that would not work with throwing more stuff in there either way....won't be able to get cooking bag for tonight....i am thinking aluminium foil make a plate like thing out of it and throw the chicken on there while waiting for FIL to get gas for the grill lol

what kid? hubbs??? get out a belt and woop his azz in shape

yup....kid the hubs lol oh I will figure something out.....when he has to move in with me...it will be my rules.

I told him I wanna buy a honda as a first car and he says "oh no we all have to have subaru" so I said "oh i see...so as a good husband you were going to buy me a car ? in that case subaru it is"

never got a response ....I am getting a honda. :D

NYU emailed me they want me to make up an event flyer for one of their events as part of their interviewing ....I dunno...it feels like "make us free add so we can use it later and hire someone else in the meantime" ....I am becoming very negative lol

nooooo not onions/garlic

you guys made me hungry so i am eating hot pepper jelly and taco cups/chips or whatever it is

OH MY GOD. I swear that would be the icing on the cake.

I am OBSESSED with onions and garlic.

I could not even imagine.

My lack of breaded items seems insignificant now.

I will eat garlic and onions for you tonight and you can eat a loaf of bread for me.

We can live vicariously through each other.

I made my mom my favorite seasoned fries for lunch today.

Just kept staring at the pan.

Wishing. Dreaming. Imagining.

:yes::yes: yep allergic to them. Add in mushrooms, chocolate, and cashews.

I could eat them with medication, as long as I didn't eat too much, and avoided the mushrooms and cashews which really hit me hard. But then the medication becomes less effective and side effects start popping up.

Over the years with repeated exposure, I slowly worked them back into my diet on occasion, again except mushrooms and cashews. Weird thing happened when my wife got here though, I could suddenly eat them regularly, again with the exception. She cooks all the scratch, and I'm fairly sure that is why. I can't go crazy on them, but I can have them multiple times a week rather than every couple of weeks.

Jada is getting smarter, you might just turn him around. Now if only he could get a job playing WOW. Wait I hear in China they do make money in WOW. Something about leveling up and selling the skills off or maybe its the characters themselves?

Jada of the Jaded, new nick for you.

well now Blizzard came up with the option of people being able to buy that stuff thru them directly...my opinion being...in order to eliminate the China thing and well not only China....people in the US do it too...they sell in game gold for real money or level up a character for you in a day and crazy stuff like that.

yeah...I grew up.

I used to absolutely love mushrooms, ate them all the time. Didn't matter how they were prepared I'd eat them. When the allergies were just starting to come on, I started having no interest in eating them, my stomach would react just thinking about them. Its like my mind subconsciously knew what was going on. So I haven't missed them so much. But the other things just sneak up when I have too much, or when foods are sneaking them in as flavors and I'm not aware of it. I'm good now, its just if I over do it, I'll pay for it. But my system purges pretty quick now if I do over do it. And I can handle a fair amount now to, which is a good thing as Filipino cooking is full of onions and garlic.

jonas' old job was basically playing video games all day long to spot bugs and report them to the programming team. maybe jada's hubs can consider that..

yah..he would have to actually want to look for a better job. He is happy where he is not having to do much but file stuff away for 1k a month.

Was the income rather low at that? I'd assume there's about 10 million young men in this country that would jump at that job.

Its not a good day at all when mushrooms get snuck into a meal. We were out at a Thai place last Saturday, and the soup came with mushrooms, I so wanted to have some, but it was my fault, I saw it on the menu and forgot to order without it. Given how much was in there, it probably would have spoiled the soup for the others though, so no big deal.
