As i am waiting for the date of my interview to come..... I'm getting more stressed...

Thinking that im so closed to see my fiance makes me soooooooooo happy!!! But on the other hand when I'm thinking about the interview i have tears on my eyes! What if i dont make it on the interview? What if they are not polite with me and they dont want to give me the visa? What if they dont like one of my answers?

Those ppl that are unknown to me.... They are about to approve or deny my visa! They are the ones that are going to judge our relation ... The fact that i dont have control over my own relation drives me crazy...

I wish everything will go smooth and get the visa soon and hug my man as soon as possible!!

It is stressful, but if your relationship is real, and you are not a criminal, then you will be approved! Most people find their interviews to be better and more respectful than they imagine. Good luck!

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

I have my interview in a few weeks' time. I figure it's going to be somewhere between quick, easy and anticlimactic vs one of us (me or the interviewer) having a bad day and being irritable and belligerent. Either way, the chances are that I'll get approved, unless something completely left-field happens.

This part of the process is unavoidable. It is one of the hoops that we have to jump through to be with the person that we love. So you might as well just get on with it and do the best that you can with the part that you can control: ensuring that you have all the required documentation and getting to the interview on time. It might also be worth doing a search of recent threads where they list questions for K1 interviews and talk them through with your fiance - the ones for your embassy will probably be the most relevant. Reading embassy reviews will also help to allay your fears so that you are as prepared as possible and know what to expect.

It's nerve-wracking and rubbish that someone else gets to decide our fate, but it's really not much different to other similar situations such as job or college interviews - and I'm sure you've passed one or two of those, right?
