I have a question in Sheriff Ulings PDF Pack for the medical he says this "Your passport will not be returned to you. They will forward it to USE together with your medical results. Delbros will deliver your passport at the address you specified on the delivery form during your interview." I am little confused... The medical is first and my Fiancee does not live around manilla... now she is staying there with some freinds.. but if they keep the passport and mail it ?? she is not going home between the med and her interview?? Can someone please shed some light on this for us.. Thanks

yes, its true. Your fiancee's passport will be forwarded by St. Lukes at US Embassy and they will just send it to her once they issued the visa already at the address she provided where her visa should send. Thats is why some of applicants who are from the province stayed in Manila until they get their visa. If she have valid reason to pick up the visa she can try to ask it at the embassy after her interview.

By the way..when is your fiancee med and interview? Because if it will be January and Feb, lots of members of "The world of Filpinas" forum will have their early medical, if she is interested she can join them. Just visit that forum.

Have a nice day!

the embassy will mail her passport with the visa on it to her house, unless she provides a different address. i think it's better to stay in manila until she receives it, just in case she needs to go to the embassy again.

Lord blessed be Your name!

St. Lukes will keep her passport and send it to the Embassy. If she is flying home she will need another photo ID, like NBI or COMELEC to board the flight. My fiancee completed her medical last week and our interview is in Feb.

Your fiancee might as well stay all the way in Manila with friends or someplace with an address so she can receive the passport visa & brown envelope.
