Thank you for response

Yes i did congresstional inquiry ...receieved statement schedule for next ceremony a month ago ...its been almost 30days after that....still no reponse. almost its now more than a year....!! made almost 10 service letter ...no system change....!!!

What do you mean "received statement schedule"?

Do you mean that you were scheduled? Or you were told that you would be scheduled? Who did you receive this statement from? USCIS or your congressman's office?

Also, when you say you "made almost 10 service letters", did you go in in person for an Infopass appointment or did you write to them?

I was waiting to see what others might suggest, but no one else has replied.

In cases where USCIS fails to act, some applicants have sued them successfully to force them to make a decision. However, in this case, I don't know if you can do that, because USCIS can claim that it isn't them, but rather the district court that schedules judicial ceremonies. It still might be a good idea to look into the possibility of a lawsuit.

You could also contact your congressman again requesting him to ask USCIS to ask the district court to schedule your oath ceremony. You could also contact the court in question and ask if USCIS had added your name to the list.

You're in a really tough spot, but that's all I can think of at the moment. If I were in your place, I would do all of those. I would also make an appointment and go to the office in person and ask to speak with a supervisor. I would bring evidence of all the times I've contacted the office and ask them whether or not they have transferred your information to the court.

Finally, if nothing else works, I would ask them to amend your application and see if they can give you an administrative oath instead (I assume you did a name change, but perhaps they'll reopen your file and drop the name change request if that is what is forcing you into a judicial oath).

I am waitting on atlanta judicial oath ceremony since june 2013 .....any one got judicial oath ceremony schedule letter for august date 2014..??

Pavan,

You may have already come across this ilink in your research, but if not, it may be helpful. At the very least, it'll be a reminder that you are not the only one in this situation. Notice that the person who wrote this says that he found that some people had been waiting for an oath date for up to 2 years and that he could have been one of them if he hadn't acted.

Best of luck to you, and please keep us informed of any developments in your case.

"My friends and family asserted that I will be called to be sworn-in in about three weeks or so. But as weeks passed and that elusive letter did not show up in the mail box, I started to get nervous and jittery. What could be wrong?, could it be that the Notice was lost by the Post Office?. A long 120 days passed and I was not called to be sworn-in. That's when I rolled up my sleeves and went into a fact finding mission. I have researched and scouted many web-sites and blogs dealing with the delay of the naturalization application. I discovered ,much to my dismay, that I was not the only one, and that THOUSANDS fellow applicants were in the same predicament, all awaiting the arrival of that glorious letter, Form N-445, Notice of naturalization Oath Ceremony. I was horrified to discover that THOUSANDS have been waiting for more than TWO years, since they passed that Interview !!!"

Here's an ongoing case of an applicant who passed his interview and then heard nothing for a year. He contacted USCIS several times and even contacted his congressman, but got no useful response. If you follow the thread to the end you'll see that he finally hired an immigration lawyer and threatened to sue USCIS. Two days after that threat, he got a reply from USCIS that they would like to interview him a second time. That could be good or bad, but at least it got a response.
