Hi,

My GC expires on July 24th 2014 and I have started working on removal of condition application. The reason why I've waited till now is, me and my wife just bought a house and I am planning to include the deed as one of the documents for proving marriage is still active and solid :)

So, so far I'm planning to include following documents..

  1. I-751 (of course)
  2. Green Card copy
  3. Fee
  4. 2 years of Tax Returns filed as a married couple
  5. New Home Deed
  6. Sonograph pictures of baby to be (yep :), expecting a baby girl in October)
  7. Health Insurance Card Copy
  8. Home Insurance card copy
  9. Car Insurance card copy
  10. India wedding ceremony pictures (the ceremony was after I got my GC)
  11. US wedding ceremony pictures (again, that ceremony was after I got my GC)
  12. 2 affidavits from friends confirming our marriage
  13. Misc. pictures and notes from friends

Anything else I should include? Do you guys see any concerns with me starting my application now?

Thanks a lot for your help!!

Its advisable to include statements of last 2 years from joint bank account for showing comingling of finances and joint credit cards copies or statements if you have any.

Also joint lease to show cohabitance for last 2 years. :)

I'll work on that. we have been renting with my wife's aunt and uncle for last 2 years, so we don't have a lease as such. Also, we don't have joint bank accounts. I'll talk to her aunt n' uncle if they can give us something. Maybe a letter from them confirming that we have been renting with them since August '12? Should that work?

We don't have any bank statements because my spouse's overdraft history with them, and I explained it on my head letter. Insurance documents you need to send all insurance cards as long as you have them, declaration pages... Current insurance cards which are few month old won't help, RFE might occur. Good luck.
