Did anyone meet online and go through arranged marriage? Would that be a negative factor during interview?

no dear not negative. just have pictures and letters showing parents role, that is important in arranged marriage na? the consular guys in us embassy are knowing kya kaam kaise hota hai, so they know what to look for.

We did not meet online but our marriage was arranged by both sets of parents (with our consent of course). I do not think that is an issue. As long as the wedding was genuine attended by family and friends (show pics here). A few affidavits by family and/or friends who attended the ceremony would be great too. We submitted 1 affidavit and 70+ pictures (in a WORD document) with short titles for each pic.

Our K1 visa process was a smooth sail.Same was the AOS interview.I had with me, bundles of printouts of skype logs,mails and phone records,engagement album and every single relationship proof we could think of at the time of visa interview.However they never asked for anything.They only reviewed what was submitted at the time of filing of I-129 petition.It is normal to be anxious but the officers are well aware and experienced which cases to filter out.Just be sure that you have all the documents and forms they have asked for.All the best!!!
