Woohoo we recieved our NOA1 letter today. It was dated Jan 26 and was received at the CSC on the 23rd. Wow that was really quick. I just hope the rumours aren't true and the process won't slow down like so many have said. Blah. At least I can follow online now and know things are in motion. :dance:

i feel hopeful. the CSC received our packet yesterday. then again, our non-usc country is Philippines...so anything goes. :huh:

Yep, there's a very good chance of a long wait ahead. Though, along with that a slight chance you might be one of the lucky who wind up zooming through the process.

In any case though, you're actually on the road now, where before you were just looking around for the road sign! Congrats!

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. I hope it doesnt take longer than a few months to get the NOA2. I am dying to be with my fiance. It totally sucks being away from eachother as much of you know and after almost 17 months of doing this #######, I'm ready to be with him. Good luck to everyone else too. :D

*Interview Date: December 4th!

congrats guys!

anyway, can anybody tell me how long should we wait for the NOA1? we sent our papers last January 29 but havent heard from them til now. I noticed some got it just in days. In the uscis.gov site it says they're processing the applications dated dec 10, does that mean we have to wait til they finish with those applications? Anyway, we filed ours in VSC, heard its fast there so we're kinda hopeful it wont be a long wait. thank you guys!

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

I-751 posted on 6th August 2009

Received on 7th August 2009 in VT
