Called the NVC hotline and the very helpful lady told me that August interviews are out as they just "got" my AOS on 6/30 (even though it arrived a week prior), and it takes 30 working days to get it

Hi Ingrid, I too was alone through out my pregnancy. Baby is two months old now. The process is taking a lot longer than I expected.

I agree - but it is morale boosting - lets you know that things are moving along (albeit v-e-r-y slowly),,,,

I thought we're lucky that we got our case numbers earlier, seems that it's the same coz we have to receive first that email confirmation. in that case then basically we need to wait for a month from our case was received till we can pay for AOS lol

Yep - NVC seems to be taking about 30 days from case # assigned to AOS fee/DS-261 (agent) appearing - then another 30 days from the acknowledgement date of the DS-261 to invoicing the IV fee/DS-260 etc etc etc....

So I did the I-130 and the I-129f at different times and they both got approved in June 26. Today I received an email/text from USCIS that my fiancée application (I-129f) was sent to NVC on July 7th. But nothing updating with my I-130. Should I be worried???

Actually if you log in and any invoice is available or DS261 available you can complete them without an email. I logged in and completed both DS261 and AOS payment several hours before getting the email.

Do have to print confirmation page for DS-261 immediately after completing?

Guys I received my case and invoice number today after calling and I also filled out the ds261 form, submitted it and print confirmation sheet. What would be the next step after payment, won't pay today though.

Once you pay the AOS you can submit the supporting documents for review. Once they process the DS261 they will generate the invoice for the DS260. Once you pay that, you submit the civil documents and the DS260 becomes available. After that they review the docs and complete your case.....Just be thorough when submitting the documents so as to not receive any checklists...if you need help direct message me.
