Called the NVC hotline and the very helpful lady told me that August interviews are out as they just "got" my AOS on 6/30 (even though it arrived a week prior), and it takes 30 working days to get it

Nvc received my case last May 30th. Called them last night for an update and the agent was really rude. She told me to wait for 30 days in a condescending tone . I hope someday these people will real

Hi Ingrid, I too was alone through out my pregnancy. Baby is two months old now. The process is taking a lot longer than I expected.

What does the AOS package contains peeps. Does contains the I 864, last three years tax transcripts, job letter and W2's?

This is what i submitted and it was approved without a checklist

  • I-864 Coversheet (with barcode)
  • Form I-864 (Signed and dated)
  • 2013 Federal Tax Transcript
  • 2012 Federal Tax Transcript
  • 2011 Federal Tax Transcript
  • Letter of Employment

If you are submitting your tax transcripts you do not need to submit any W2's. W2's and 1099's are only required if you are submitting copies of your 1040 instead of transcripts.

Just called NVC. Still nothing.. NOA2 is May 17

Question. My lawyer is telling me to send only last year taxes. He's been doing that and never got an RFE. What do you think?

My attorney said the same thing. He only does immigration. He said it depends on the income your showing. If your W-2 income is substantial that is usually enough. I'm not suggesting anything here just reporting my attorney said the same thing. I'm going to push him to include my last 3 years transcripts. It can't hurt.

Only the most recent year is required, however, people send all three years to show consistency with their income.

Any other uk filers here? Not sure about other embassies but you can book the medical as soon as you get the case #

Im wondering when I should call NVC to see if they received case from May 19 NOA2?

I would call now cuz I was approved on may 16th and nvc received my file may 29th
