Called the NVC hotline and the very helpful lady told me that August interviews are out as they just "got" my AOS on 6/30 (even though it arrived a week prior), and it takes 30 working days to get it

Hi Ingrid, I too was alone through out my pregnancy. Baby is two months old now. The process is taking a lot longer than I expected.

When doing the AOS - when asked current income, do I put the income I'd make this year. Or the income I made when I filed 2013 tax?

Cause it's a huge difference. I only worked part time last year and my income was horrible. This year I'm working full time (started in april 2014) and I have a better pay.

When doing the AOS - when asked current income, do I put the income I'd make this year. Or the income I made when I filed 2013 tax?

Cause it's a huge difference. I only worked part time last year and my income was horrible. This year I'm working full time (started in april 2014) and I have a better pay.

Your current income...I would send a job letter with the documents to support the new info. Here is what you need to send to avoid checklist for AOS. I suggest sending tax transcripts rather than 1040s.

With no joint sponsors:

-Bar-coded cover sheet from payment portal

-Cover letter (optional)]

-Completed, signed, and dated I-864 form by petitioner

-Tax information^^ of petitioner (either just the last year OR the last 3 years)

-Employment letter of petitioner (optional, but good proof of CURRENT income)

-Pay stub(s) of petitioner (optional, but good proof of CURRENT income)

With joint sponsors:

-All of the above of the petitioner

-Completed, signed, and dated I-864 of joint sponsor

-Tax information^^ of joint sponsor (either just the last year OR the last 3 years)

-Proof of US citizenship/residency of joint sponsor (ex: copy of US passport, US birth certificate, US naturalization certificate, or front & back of green card)

-Employment letter of joint sponsor (optional, but good proof of CURRENT income)

-Pay stub(s) of joint sponsor (optional, but good proof of CURRENT income)

Also send copies of your pay statements since april....

My I130 petition for spouse of GC holder was approved & sent to NVC in February 2014, every since then never heard back from them what do you guys think I need to do ? Any suggestions ?

Should your employment letter/docs be notarized?

No!!! If your employer uses theworknumber.com...you can just print it from there. If not just have them write you a letter (on company stationary-with letter head) showing the dates of your employment and your salary.

We sent 6 months of online pay statements from the company website - they were accepted without any issues - no letters no notorizing etc....

Have you checked to see if you qaulify to us I864EZ?? Also if you follow the list of documents I posted previously when you asked a questions you will be safe. I was not checklisted for either AOS or IV docs, i followed that guideline.

Every time I call NVC, I'll be on hold for about an hour and when I can finally get through they say they can't hear me and disconnect. Why does this keep happening? Has anyone experienced the same thing? I've never had a problem people hearing me when I call from my cell.

Have you checked to see if you qaulify to us I864EZ?? Also if you follow the list of documents I posted previously when you asked a questions you will be safe. I was not checklisted for either AOS or IV docs, i followed that guideline.

My mom is co-sponsoring so she is filling out i1864a, with our combine income (she lives with me) it's more than enough.

I'll check it out, thank you for your help.

When using IRS Tax Return Transcripts - what number should I put for income on the I-1864 the adjusted gross income?

& also, my mom is doing an I-1864 but on her last tax returns she filed for my father and brother as well. My father doesn't live with us (they aren't divorced, he lives in a another country), should I include them all on Sponsor's Household size? This along with my spouse would add up to 5...

Why are they taking so long to review the AOS package! I am getting frustrated. September I will be five months pregnant seems as if my baby will be born here adding additional wait time. Rrrrrrrr
