filed: I-130 for my unmarried son and daughter under 21. and also my Naturalization for N-400 on 10-10-2014

uscis received applications: 10-19-2014

11-22-2014 did my biometric

02-19-2014 got interviewed

Oath of ceremony 03-21-2014 got my citizenship.

05-08-2014 petition for kids I-130 got approved

got approval letter

USCIS alao sent it over to NVC

NVC received it on 05-22-2014

i waited 30 days then called NVC

received case # on 06-22-2014

NVC told me to wait three weeks for

AOS invoice number.

Got affidavit invoice 06-30-2014

payed affidavit of support 07-02-2014

send requested documents with AOS form filled out 07-17-2014

now waiting on NVC to make a decision

next step physical and interview i will keep you updated.

Can submission of ds-261 form will go through if you entered a wrong Beneficiary ID?

Ohhh why is ds-261 doesn't have a box to fill out for BIN? In Saylin's screenshot there is a box requiring for it. Is it just me???

I have a feeling they've stopped using it. You don't need it for the ds260 either. The sample looks like you do but you don't.

Alright thanks because I was confused if I entered the right one so I reopened it but then I found out that it wasn't there. Now, I am worried because from Saylin's wiki it's indicated that DO NOT REOPEN DS-261 after submission because it will restart the waiting time of your IV bill invoice. In my case, can this be something to worry about. Reopened it like 2 hours after submission. I guess it won't be generated/accepted in that short span of time. Hope it's ok?

When doing the I1864 - all of my tax transcripts have my maiden name, but when I started my new job I was married and all my current job offer letter/pay stubs are in my married last name. Will that be an issue? I don't know what name I should use when filling out the forms.

I received Two Emails from NVC Yesterday. First was telling me that AOS is ready to be paid and the second telling me to fill out the DS-261 Form. However when i go to the given website and use my given case number / IIN i get the below error even after waiting for a day.

"Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error."

And for paying the AOS fee i can sign in however it still says "Not Invoiced"

Any suggestion as to what is going on?

I called NVC today and the person on the phone informed me that she will reach out to someone to look into it however i was just wondering if this is a normal process.

Please advise.

Thanks. So DS-261 Form did open up and i submitted it on behalf of my wife however I clicked "No" for "Did anyone assist you in filling out this form?" and hit submit which it seems like i shouldnt have done.

So I ended up redoing the form again today (because when i signed in again to check DS261 it said incomplete) clicking submit. Hope that should be alright.

Must by country specific. There was no where to sign it on my UK one.

Hi guys after paying the AOS fee does it have to say paid first before you can print the barcode? I just paid online however I do not see any barcode to be printed. Only the AOS Fee Receipt Details.

No!!! Once you make the payment the barcoded cover sheet becomes available. If you log back in and look at the bottom it will have the option to print or email the cover sheet. See the image i have attached.
