Thanks :) Got an attorney.

This is a real unexpected benefit of having an attorney. With the NVC all backed up I'm guessing we have both saved about 3 to 4 weeks on eliminating the need to process the DS261 before the IV fee is payable. There are folks who have been waiting a month.

well done - did your case update on a Saturday?

No, probably last night. I'm in the uk and my wife isn't as ####### as I am. It was saying case terminated last night so I thought it would change over the next few hours.

And since when, VJ, is ####### a swear word?

I think some have been waiting longer, few folks on the fb pages over the 30 business days :(

Has to been a deal cut by lawyers this, in order to get people to pay more to save time, even if it is only a month.

Hi guys quick question. I recieved my NOA2 on March 24, 2014. NVC has yet to receive it. They keep telling me to call back and email them but I have yet to here concrete answer. Has this happened to anyone? I think USCIS might have lost it because it has been almost 4 months.

Yes - at the moment NVC is grinding exceedingly slow - for each part of the process....

Another question... My husband wants to end all this process.

Do you known anybody who have done that? And what are the chances of him coming to lets say Vegas or Florida for a week? Or it always be a question mark for every imigration officer?

I really think it's worth sticking it out - it's the same for everyone - and who knows what an entry officer will do? ... Someone herem ight know if a visa app EVER comes off of the system completely.

Somehow I doubt that.

I agree with you. Doesn't mater that my husband was coming to US at least twice a year, starting 1995... Being in the process changes everything .. I think they will always treat him as a "potential illegal immigrant " even if we stop this insane process and I move to Europe

It seems that it's about 30 working days for each part at the moment - why NVC has effectively slowed to a crawl is not known - I don't personally know of any ite that has accurate information about it.

I think for scanning it's only a few days but it's taking well over 30 for the iv to be invoiced
