Please udpate us for any interview slot opening

Hi all! Just found this topic. I was wondering if illing out my info automatically cancels my original appointment? I tried looking for a new date and it said that there's currently no available appointment. Just wanna make sure that I didn't automatically canceled my dad's interview for July. Pls advise

The interview is scheduled by NVC for immigrant visas, unless you were an expedite. Were you notified of the interview date by NVC?

Unless you actually cancelled the interview date it is still there in July, did you click to an cancel button? Even then I am not sure that it is really cancelled as there was another immigrant visa that tried rescheduling the interview themselves, they showed up at their "new date" and the embassy sent them home and told them to come back on their original interview date.

I don't remember clicking a Cancel button. My dad's interview was set-up by NVC and I was hoping if I could reschedule it to an earlier date.

I would not cancel if I were you. THere are zero open dates at the moment. Unless you somehow you were guaranteed to get an earlier date keep what you have.

That's what's weird.Whenever i click continue(twice),it just says "there are no appointments available.And it also says im nearing the max etc etc.Why am i stuck to this since yesterday?

Ah, I'm sorry--I see you are an IR1/CR1. I think things are different for you in terms of scheduling. Let's wait for a more knowledgeable member to comment--I'm a K1.

Being you are DCF, NVC does not schedule your interview you do your own scheduling, I doubt calling the embassy will be very fulfilling right now.

I m sorry I didnt see your filing status. Follow Sir Hank_'s instructions. He is very good with helping abd has the best instructions.
