Yes I am sure. Others have done their medical with the NVC email/letter. Key word there is "OR"

http://www.slec.ph/us-visa-applicants.shtml#required-docs

Whats the difference between "D" and "E"?

D. Visa Interview Appointment letter from the Embassy or Instruction letter from the National Visa Center (NVC), if available,

Principal Applicant - original & 2 photocopies

Derivative - 2 photocopies

E. 2 photocopies of your Appointment Letter/ Instruction Letter

Just bring two copies of the NVC letter with your MNL # on it to do your medical... many have done it before you.

Surprisingly our NvC Letter was shipped without being scanned first due to first set of my fiancee's papers are not yet here. So we plan for a back up of sending again. All i have now is the confirmation interview appointment since i got june 20. Would that be alright?

Plan to have my medical tom (friday) atleast a week prior on the interview date. The shipped papers are estimated to receive on saturday

Besides the basic requirements my fiancée just brought her MNL# and the interview appointment letter along with the SLEC online registration confirmation. She never had the NVC letter and she had no problem.

Thanks. I was asked to go back on monday for the medical result. Would that mean everythings clear?

More then likely, you will get the vaccinations on Monday if no issues.

My fiance is going to Manila next week to do the medical exam since it looks like we could be waiting a min for opening. I dont have a question (they have all been answered) just wanted to make a comment.

Hank and everyone else who is contributing I just want to say thank you for all your knowledge and assistance, it has really helped in so many ways if for no other reason than peace of mind that we are on the right track. Wading through this murky bureaucracy can be challenging!

Once again...I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

God Bless

I learned a little trick about the 2nd day of medical. They wil stamp your card one of two things: VACCINATION or SPUTUM. If you see the first one of the two, you are in the clear. Get your shots and you are on your way.

The interview is scheduled by NVC for immigrant visas, unless you were an expedite. Were you notified of the interview date by NVC?

Unless you actually cancelled the interview date it is still there in July, did you click to an cancel button? Even then I am not sure that it is really cancelled as there was another immigrant visa that tried rescheduling the interview themselves, they showed up at their "new date" and the embassy sent them home and told them to come back on their original interview date.
