Hi,

I am dv winner from Nepal with Cn12***. I am now in foreign country in student visa status. When i had send DSP form, i had said i want to be interviewed in US embassy in Nepal .Now, there seems to some problem with my student visa , so i want to move my interview place from Nepal to country where i am now. Since, my CN is in range of 12k, i do not expect it to be current in August. what i think is, if i am current, it will be only in September. So is it okay to inform KCC now to reschedule my interview location or is it too late to do so? am i risking myself informing KCC now or there will be enough time for KCC to reschedule my interview provided that i have informed them more than a month before they publish the September visa bulletin?

Other responders will probably have more experience, but my understanding is if all your forms are still at KCC (and they probably still are if your interview has not been scheduled), then there shouldn't be a delay if you send in new forms right away. But since you're dealing with an interview in the last possible month (September), to be safe you should call KCC to confirm all this.
