I'd be more scared of the german shepard as it has the highest capacity for destruction. Plus, I could just step on the little guy. AR-15's scare me more because of their capability. Rapid fire is just not necessary for most gun owners. That's why most gun owners don't own an AR-15.

Rapid Fire ???

Oh do tell?

Also waiting.....

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I think everyone knows that.

well then why does the discussion always come down to AR-15's which are almost zero percent of the gun crime problem in this country.

Calm down

I will not calm down

Its just part of the discussion in my opinion. An easy fix as it were. I don't see the point of them. Like I say, home defenders would rather use a pistol. And that makes sense.

What's the point go having it? Is is just the gimmick? The fun of shooting? Selling for a profit (cus I know a guy that was buying Ar-15's and the part with the serial on it to sell)?

I mean I know some folks think you need to have an arsenal for the apocalypse or whatever but that opinion means little to me.

It truly is just a gimmick. The rifle is physically moving back and forth and it is in no way accurate. It gives ppl the chance to shoot rapid fire in a time when full auto can no longer be sold in firearms to the civilian market.

Because they are rapid fire?

But what you guys fail to see, is that it rallies guns rights people and makes middle of the road people that would otherwise favor sensible reform, rise up.

Why because it makes zero common sense to ban an AR-15. It is just a rifle, nothing more nothing less with no more capabilities than your other avg rifles.

So just what problem would banning AR-15's solve. Sure would not have saved the 33 dead at VA Tech

Here are the facts

The vast vast majority of Ar-15 owners are lawful citizens who never hurt a flea

The AR is not the weapon of the Avg street criminal and that is where most of the gun crime is taking place

AR-15 's accounts for almost an un measurable percentage of Gun Deaths in this country

Glock handguns were the weapon of choice for the deadliest mass murder in US History

Hand Guns kill the overwhelming majority of people and a large percentage of those owned by people that on them illegally

Everything does that

That's why it seems a little silly for them to exist. But even if you get rid of AR's, people will just mod out other guns to will the void.

To fill what void. It is basically just a Semi-Automatic rifle. Nothing less nothing more.

Rapid fire.

Yeah yeah, we get it. 6 and done though. I'd also go out on a limb to say it takes a skilled guy to accurately use that gun at that speed and those are rearly the guys you gotta worry about.

Do you guys think its easier to hit something (one shot) with a pistol or a conventional AR-15?
