I know it is usually the case to have the police record and medical done by your souse and taken with them to their interview. I am being told this has changed and you have to mail the police record to the NVC instead? The country it is coming from is Tunisia. This doesn't sound correct. I was wondering if anyone could give me a better idea?

I have a friend in Tunisia and he just got case complete. A police report is required to be sent to NVC for you .

You will send with the rest of your documents.

Please note this is not a change in procedure. It has been this way for at least several years, in immigrant visa cases. K1 fiancee visa cases carry their police report and other civil documents to the interview, but not CR1/IR1 or any other "immigrant" visa applicant.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
