Hello guys,

I am getting ready for my Interview at the ASC, medical exam and finally interview in Ciudad Juarez. My faincee has already sent me all the documents she sent USCIS, NOAs, I-134 forms and needed proof. Her dad is co-sponsoring us. I am just wondering if she needs to send me her original birth certificate or is a copy of her birth certificate and passport good enough? My interview is on June 18th so I need to know fast so that if needed be, she can send them to me or something. I do not see why a copy would not work, but I am not sure, Anyone please help?

Much appreciated!!

In Juarez, copies will work. Do not have her send something as important as her passport through the mail. The instructions do not state originals needed for proof of petitioner's citizenship. Also, it states originals you give them will not be returned, so be careful what you hand over to them.
