Just wanted to share...

In the process of getting vaccinations ahead of medical and so far this is my findings.

I need 3Hep B, 2Dt and 1MMR....

Kids need Hep B, 2 Pneumococcal and Dt

Immunization Services on Trevennion Road (next to Captain's Bakery on HWT road) charges $1000 for Hep B, $4,250 for Pneumococcal, $650 for Dt and oops forgot MMR ( seeing that its free elsewhere)

At St. Jago Health Clinic (immediately next to Spanish Town Hospital) Hep B is $1500, Pneumococcal is $3260 and the others free.

There is presently no Varicella (which I had gotten before) in the island. So don't think we can be penalized for this...

Also U can get vaccinations for the kids at The Health Clinic off Slipe Road if they are under 14 I think ( there is a complicated list of diff vaccines at diff ages.)

So based on the above so far in addition to medical seems we will be spending another US$100 or so..

Any1 have any diff or similar findings??

Don't 4get the flu shot.....I think that's between Oct-Mar required

think eventually its more cost effective to let them do the necessary vaccins at the medical, as the health centers may not have all the vaccins u need to give you at once.

if you are not given all the vaccins you at once, you have to wait 6 weeks before you can take any other, which might run into the time of your medical, at which time, even if the doctors at the medical has the one you need they may not be able to administer it, resulting in an incomplete medical.

Is it a must that you have to get all other vaccines before the medical such as the hepatitis A and B. I have completed my vaccinations given through the clinic.. just want to know if they will provide those at the medical with no delays??
