Hey VJ family

Just want to be sure.

We need to get another police report for interview.

I submitted one to NVC i only got one copy. And its dated for April, 2014

Do i need another one??

Overthinking things i hope????

Did u receive ur interview letter yet...?

Pls see ur letter and pls do let us know whether it requires or not

No news... :( CEAC website still says 'AP'..... its been 11 days since my interview now :(

They say that 80% of AP cases gets resolved/approved in 2-4 weeks...... i will cross 2 week mark this Thursday... fingers crossed...hoping for the best...... don't knw what these guys r upto....

Just an update on our case. Embassy emailed back on Monday to confirm that they have recieved my Greek police certificate (phew!) and I had the medical done on Tuesday. My arm is still killing from the damn tetanus shot!

Now only thing left is to gather together our evidence for the interview.. I'll be a nervous wreck it it gets done.. 20 days to go!

Yep, its a huge relief knowing its almost done... 19 days til our interview !!! My husband is on his way right now to get his police certificate. Then he has to drop it off for a friend to translate it. I was told it needs to b translated and I was told it does not need to be translated... Its a "one liner" and is not a big deal but I wish they would get their story straight.

I thought that any documents in the native language of the country do not need to be translated... :blink: goes to show that even if you read something from an 'official' source doesn't necesseraly means its what 'officially' needs to be done!

At least you know about the translation before you arrive at the interview, its better to be prepared for the worst-case scenario rather than hope the worst-case scenario doesn't happen!

Only thing I have learnt from this whole process is that nothing is as its seems and 5 different people will give you 5 different answers to the same question!

Looking for OPINIONS here- should I book a flight to return and gamble $800 to save $2400?--

It clearly says "DONT BOOK ANY FLIGHTS" -- but the alternative is pretty ugly (expensive) - I MUST get back to work on a specific day --I got 7 days after the interview to get back to USA.

Thank you!! :) Going to be calling more frequently now for the interview date. Agent Todd said they hadn't started assigning August interviews yet for London (WRONG), but that they would start next week. Bdrew said that he may have meant a 2nd round? Who knows!
