by the way, if you dont mind me asking, do you have a child or children going with you to the US? because im thinking they might be prioritizing a spouse with child or children? just a thought a way to ease my worries

hi everyone,

please help, is anyone out there who have ideas, who experienced or experiencing long waiting for an interview date particularly in the Philippines? i have received a notice from NVC last April 21, 2014 that my case has been sent already to US embassy Manila and will just bring the lacking documents from AOS during the scheduled interview. my husband keeps on calling NVC to follow-up regarding the interview schedule since it's more that 2 months now from the notice, but agents from NVC just kept on telling us to wait, is US Embassy Manila really taking long time to give an interview date? thank you

Oh Okay I see what the issue is. You requested I assume an expedite. You have been forwarded to embassy. So you are no longer in NVC’s hands. You are calling the wrong people.

You are supposed to have followed up with the embassy to schedule. They are waiting on you.

You could have been go on their site and schedule your appointment. I would contact the embassy. Sorry I didn’t see this post before.

So I just talked to my lawyer. He said the embassy will absolutely accept our new AOS during the interview. So I can stop stressing over that.

Husband got a call from the embassy to come and pick up the package. Since he can't make it Thursday, he has to go Monday. Not a big deal anyway... he already did his medical and the doctor told him to treat the envelope like his baby. LOL Police certificate will be done tomorrow. And my friend said she would translate it for me. Embassy said it doesn't have to be an official translation. ( thank God) I just hope they don't handwrite anything crazy to bring to the interview.....

Lawyer said the USCIS is getting tired of everyone asking for an expedite for the waivers... He said he will request one for us BUT he just wanted to let me know they are not happy these days !!

The embassy scheduled my interview for Aug 14th !!!!! I already had my ticket for Aug 1^st and now i have to change it, I hope to find another ticket to get out the country, now it is so hard for Venezuelan find a travel tickets. I was looking for late Aug ticket and I couldn't find any yet.

So glad to see a F2A here.

Go to first post and read about it. You have a while before any tracking is to be done.

Honestly just watch the CEAC Visa tracker is better. With DHL like I have stated many times here you have no way of knowing if that's yours or a K1 or a reaffirm or nothing.

Medical all that is for you to find out. No way NVC can make a letter for every embassy. I would start right here on VJ have you looked at your countries portal page. It has alot what you need.
