Hubby got approved after a three hour wait inside the embassy. He said the lady was very severe but asked a few questions only -- how we met, details about me, etc. She looked at our albums and said he was approved. She did not ask for the 2013 tax info from me nor the joint sponsor. Also didn't need a new BC or police report....basically none of my months of preparing papers for the interview were necessary. My husband will pick up his visa on Tuesday inchallah. Hate to wait some more but a relief to finally be approved! Thanks to dwheels and Saylin for your help in this process!

It looked like a carrot to me, at first. Then I thought what does a carrot have to do with luck??

Whatever it was it worked because my wife and daughter were APPROVED!!!!

Great News!!! And if it was a carrot, maybe it was to help the officer CLEARLY SEE that your case should be approved immediately

My case was completed June 20th and today early in the AM, received e-mail where it told me that my interview date is August 11th. Can't wait! Best of luck to all of you guys waiting!

Got my email this morning. I had not been able to sleep last night, and fired off a letter from me (the prior two had been from Julie) at midnight. Got a reply at 10:20 this morning. The person on the other end said we MUST bring the email to show to the guard. I am sooo relieved!

Interviews are all about the case complete date. Then PD comes in to play as far as giving dates. I am sure if there are still slots when they get down to your CC date your interview date will be before R60106. You just have to hold on.

It's no hit and miss or lottery. Usually to be considered for the round of interviews they say you need case complete by 15th to 20th to be safe after that its a hit and miss.

Could you please work at NVC? I swear these Agents make stuff up as they go along!

When I called last night (my final call to NVC, it was glorious) I asked how the interviews were done because my case complete was right at the tail end of July scheduling and I end up with the last business day of the month! He said the schedulers get so many slots and just fill them in whereever they can. He made it sound like a dang lottery! I asked if the priority date comes into play here and he said it doesn't.

Granted, I take everything the phone agents say with a grain of salt LOL He suggested my husband call the Embassy the next day and ask for an earlier date. Will keep everyone posted!

Why do you think obserwatorka would be before our interview date? Our CC was June 11 and I just don't understand why ours is so late. It's upsetting and makes no sense to me. I was really hoping for a mid-August interview.

That is awesome. Well better to have had all those documents and stuff and not need then need and not have prep is key. Way to go. Congratulations

Sounds more like they get a file and then start throwing darts at the calendar! Same happened to me, I was scheduled in April for all the way to the end of June. No real reason given.

So glad to see you got your interview date though! Definitely call the embassy once they get your case to see if you can get a closer date.

I am sure they aren't done just hold on and we will see.

Congratulations to everyone getting interview. This is just day 2 so you others hold on okay. They started 2 days before my prediction (darn it).

Keep the good news coming. Update the forms when you get news or I will update you and let you know (I am working ya'll LOL)

I'm so confused. You told them they would get an interview "before" my wife's date. I was just trying to make sense of what you said. That's all. Just curious.

It's not your fault for the late date. I'm just upset and will likely call the embassy to see if it can be earlier. Thanks!

Hey guys - quick question. I did my 2013 taxes but they fat fingered my middle initial and so my middle initial on my 2013 tax transcript shows "B" instead of "D"

Will this be a problem at the interview?

Thank you so much dwheels76 how ever i have a concern tho about our letter based on my understanding i dont need to bring anything else except the things that are in the bullet form and the interview letter Well I'm also bringing my husband's AOS form pay stubs ITR pictures of us, proof of bonafide relationships and all that stuff but this code thing confuses me a lot
