Hey Sukie,

I just received email confirmation allowing me to attend my husband's interview with him. I made the request on Friday afternoon, received confirmation back Wednesday morning.

That should mean that you got yours as well! You emailed long before me :)

I am going to print off the email to bring just in case; they said they added me to the list but I don't trust them! Haha.

Hope all of your travel arrangements are going well!

Got my email this morning. I had not been able to sleep last night, and fired off a letter from me (the prior two had been from Julie) at midnight. Got a reply at 10:20 this morning. The person on the other end said we MUST bring the email to show to the guard. I am sooo relieved!

Is that how it's generally done when it comes to the petitioner attending the interview? Written approval by email? If so I'll email the embassy in Poland. But I don't what to do that if it's not the norm.

Those are the instructions for the Sydney Consulate. You'll have to rely on the Warsaw Consulate website for your instructions.

hi everyone,

please help, is anyone out there who have ideas, who experienced or experiencing long waiting for an interview date particularly in the Philippines? i have received a notice from NVC last April 21, 2014 that my case has been sent already to US embassy Manila and will just bring the lacking documents from AOS during the scheduled interview. my husband keeps on calling NVC to follow-up regarding the interview schedule since it's more that 2 months now from the notice, but agents from NVC just kept on telling us to wait, is US Embassy Manila really taking long time to give an interview date? thank you

If i may ask is your husband a USC or LPR? Coz some f us have their interview dates already from june's case complete. As far as i know if your petitioner is an LPR then have to wait if theres available visa coz the slot is limited unlike USC they are prioritized have unlimited slots. Correct me if im wrong guys... Im not an expert but that is what i know..

Sorry, I am not sure how it works at other consulates. I only know this is how it is done at the Sydney Consulate. Maybe try calling and asking, it is nice to know that you can go in to the interview with your spouse instead of waiting outside :)

Good luck!

Is that even possible? Did you check if you can be present at the interview? I just read the Poland embassy website and I'm pretty sure my daughter and I can't be there. Ugh. :( I really want to be with my wife on interview day but don't know if I should go and then hope we get the passport back in time to go to the states or let her go by herself and then come at a later date so I don't burn a lot of vacation days (I only have 6.5 days left). I hope that made sense. Any input? I read we can have the visa dropped off at a courier location near the embassy and that that shortens the time we'll have to wait, but it's still 3 business days I think.

Write to publicwaw@state.gov and see if you can be present at the interview....

The Warsaw website is not clear.

All you can do is wait and see. Call I would. No one can say.

This is awesome. Wooo whooo Vietnam. Happy for you and your family. See this is a blessed thread. Joy and happiness prevails. :goofy:

Ok, so I'm waiting.

Just got off the phone and my wife's interview date is August 28th at 8:30 in the morning. Does anyone know how long it normally takes to get the visa back? Isn't it 5 business days? The following Monday is Labor Day. That means the embassy is closed doesn't it? Ugh...I'm happy for the closure this brings but I'm upset the interview is so darn late....

This date doesn't make me happy at all. Does this mean September inteview for me? :/

It should happen along with this batch. From what I observed, only those who get CC after the first week of the month have to wait until the last week of same month to be scheduled with the following scheduling batch.

Congrats on the CC by the way. Glad the stress is over for you. Oh, and bring back the old image when you can... loved that one!

I hope it's gonna happen soon. Thank you :)

Picture will be back in case of long waiting for my interview date ;)
