August 29th at 8am. I'm not as excited as I should be (probably because I was hoping for EARLY August). The good side is this does not conflict with our travel plans to Prague and flights to the US from London are much cheaper in September.

We'll still try to beg for an earlier date, but we should suck it up and be thankful we're at this stage!

I'll be excited for you then !!! CONGRATS !!!!! FINALLY !!

Case complete is one factor then they start looking at your Receipt date at USCIS. It could also be that August has some other things going for your embassy and those later dates are only available.

But Receipt date does have a factor also. When you see others from your embassy get their dates look at Receipt dates and compare. Now not ALWAYS will it be oldest receipt date gets the earliest date.

Remember your embassy also has DCF and who knows how many hundreds of petitions outside of VJ.

I know UK is bank-holiday happy around August, so I'm sure that's another factor. I completely forgot about DCF, and I hear those are flying through the Embassy now. I figured the PD should come in handy with scheduling interviews (if someone with a PD before mine gets their interview before me, well, rightly so)!

Thank you, that actually makes me feel a bit better. Hubs wants to try to get an earlier date, but watch, that will conflict with our trip! LOL I figure we should just leave things where they are and I'll see him for a moment in August and then forever in September.

Called NVC seeing vj members are getting their Interview date scheduled for the Month of August.

Jean (NVC rep) just informed me of our Interview date. :)

Its on August 12. Exactly 2 months from Case Complete.

However she told me it was scheduled yesterday.
