All you folks waiting for your interviews...

I've been checking the DHL site like a maniac. The last package *I* can find is from June 13th!!! There was a huge batch that went out on the 11th, and some on the 12, with one to Ireland on the 13th, but absolutely NOTHING since then.

I think my file is already at the Sydney Consulate (I think it got there Monday morning, Aussie time), but my case status has been "In Transit" since last Friday.

Has anyone else been trying to track their package from NVC to their Embassy/Consulate?

The ONLY reason I'm a little nervous is that we have to get written permission for me to attend the interview - and we've written the Consulate, with no reply. If our case hasn't reached Sydney yet, I fear they will not answer the email. I'd just like to know that the file has arrived....

Hi All,

So I emailed the Embassy twice already asking if I could get an earlier interview date and they just seem to ignore my emails. For anyone who has successfully done so, how long did it take for them to get back to you?

Thank you,

My hubby called the embassy to ask. Are you or your spouse able to call? They changed the date right over the phone.

Good Luck!

I saw a few responses from people who are interviewing through Casa, Morocco. I was hoping one of you would tell me how much time it took from NBC case complete until your interview. What was the wait time? I am trying to plan it so that I can be in Morocco when my husband goes for his interview.

Thank you.

Hi, no need to translate the documents if they are in French, if they are in another language, you need to translate them again (I saw this on the Paris embassy pdf in the government's website). Hope this helps!

He is a US citizen, lived in the UK, now moved back to the US. I am French, we met in 2010 in the UK and got married in March 2013 in France.

You must write to the Sydney Consulate and get written permission for you and your bub to be there. If your name isn't on the list, you won't be able to enter the Consulate. You can find the email address on their website. Be SURE to get written permission from them!

Hopefully now, if they have our files, they'll get back to us!

If I may ask a stupid question, I tried the DHL search thingy, but I'm dense and wasn't able to figure out when the last package sent to London was. I know my case wouldn't be in the last one (I'm just trying to piece together how realistic a July interview is). My reasoning is if the cases from last week are still sitting there, maybe there's a chance for me lol

Well its about slots they have and I know the embassy likes at least a 40 day window of time so usually about 15th on the likelihood of having a interview that next month deems.

London is one of the more busier embassies and they have packages almost daily. You can't go by what is sent those could be all manner of petitions 1's reaffirms all kinds.

Thank you! That makes total sense. I'm counting on an August interview at this stage, all I can think is we missed the cut-off by one business day - I told my husband a few months ago that's probably what would happen! I'll be shocked if I squeak by (I highly doubt it, though)!
