My esposo and I just went through the long list of interview questions, I think we'll do great!

One question I do have is what's a good answer to "why do you want to move to the USA?" Obviously it can't be because he wants to be with me since I'm living in CR with him right now. The *real* reason is because Costa Rica is really expensive and you get paid very little, in the USA cost of living is lower and you get paid more. Also my esposo kind of hates CR right now (I'm sure he'll miss it when we leave, absence makes the heart grow fonder and what not). But would that be an acceptable answer? To say the USA is cheaper and the jobs are better?

I was also unsure when it came to this question but the CO didn't ask it in the end. If he had my husband was going to say...my wife wants to move back home and has been living here with me until we were able to do so and until I received the visa.

I called NVC tonight and was told that they are done scheduling interviews for July for this month. Not sure if he meant just Vietnam or in general, but he mentioned that they usually schedule interviews at the beginning of the month. I don't believe him because the spreadsheet suggests the opposite. So until June 30th hits, there's still hope for a July interview!

When I talked to Agent Jean on Monday (when I got my CC), she said they were still scheduling throughout this week - I'm thinking she was just referring to London embassy, though.

I was looking through the speadsheet and I think it will be very odd if I still get a July interview, since CCs after the 15th rarely got scheduled until the end of the month. :/

I hope you get a July interview though, you've already been waiting!!

I just called, got Agent Jean again - she didn't remember me, so much for sending her flowers hahaha

Anyway, interview has not been scheduled and she confirmed that London is still scheduling this week and if I don't get an interview date by Friday, I'm in the queue for August.

On the brightside, my case is still complete!

If what he put matches the city name stated on the marriage certificate, then all should be well. Besides, such honest mistakes and other updates could be volunteered at the beginning of the interview. This is assuming you're done with NVC.

As you can see from my signature, I had cc on 05-15 but did not get a June interview.

If you don't get July, you will get an early August interview in chaa Allah! At least, Ramadan will be over and you'll get to spend some "quality" time with your family!!!!!!!!!

My esposo called and he said they said they don't have it yet. Hmm. I might try calling real quick, I have a planning period at school.

Also, he said they changed our interview date to JULY 1!

Not for spousal filers. London actually advises that we wait until they receive our case file from NVC (after interview scheduling) before the medical is done, that way they have our documents on file to pair the medical results with when Knightsbridge sends them.
