Can you provide info around probable cause of such queries? What was so different in your case?

There was nothing different in my case, i guess it depends on country to country, I have seen cases where people do work in different countries and get approved on the same day of interview.

The only reason that I can think of is that the beneficiary has traveled/lived outside of India or the beneficiary and/or petitioner works in a profession that's on the Technology Alert List.

Could it be the reason that i have worked in other countries? i have provided police clearance from those countries. There are many of us, i think, who have worked in other countries but then all the cases doesn't go to AP. May be the countries where i have worked were are 3rd world according to CO (though it is not so).

Sorry if this has been answered before but, how long approximately does it take for a Green Card to arrive at the USA address after an interview?

And, do you know your Green Card number before the physical card actually arrives?

Thanks - we'll take the X-rays to the interview. At POE, can the X-rays be placed in the checked baggage, or does she need to have it in her carry-on luggage? The envelope is so big, and it would be hard to keep them flat and unbent in carry-on luggage...

As others have told you, have her take it in her carry-on luggage even though she will likely not hand it over.

Still not able to pull up any packages for Costa Rica since June 6th. NVC told me " it looks like" my package was sent on June 13th. I guess its another waiting game...
