Biometric is a very short process. Less than an hour. Make sure to take the DS-260 confirmation page, Passport, copy of the interview letter, and couple of pics with you.

This is so confusing to me and there's a bunch of us that got Paris interviews at once. So do they send our stuff all together or individually?

Just finished organizing EVERYTHING (I-130, AOS, IV, etc) into two giant folders. There's still a few more things I need to get, but I feel hella ready for our (his) interview on July 3! My esposo asked me "you're going to keep all that until I get a passport, aren't you?" I said "I'm keeping this stuff FOREVER. That way anytime you get mad at me I'll pull it out and be like 'remember that time I did all this ridiculous paperwork?'"

I'm pretty darn proud of the binder I made as well hehe.

Have you already made your travel plans for France? We already bought our plane tickets and booked the hotel.

You have to let me know how long it takes you to receive your package in the mail after your interview because I was hoping my husband could come back with me on July 30th but we don't know if he'll have his stuff yet.

I was just trying to figure out if it was what i thought it was, the ds260, or if i needed to do something more.

I am setting a file with everything from I-130 to the AOS and IV packet. I don't want to miss anything.

Damn husbands, always keeping their calm while we pull our hair.

Mine is like, don't worry we are fine, nothing to stress about it...

And i'll be like: BUT BUT BUT....

LOL! That is my husband too. I'm like, "umm... Why are you so calm?!?"

Well I can't keep my eyes open any longer, and am amazed at how busy this thread is this week! So many new announcements and Interview dates!!!

Congratulations to all whom I didn't already wish that in the NVC thread (which took me 2 days to get through, over 50 pages just to catch up lol)

My medical exam went well, shots were done in advance, now only the interview and move left!

Interview was yesterday, it went well and everything was fine, but consul asked for another joint sponsor, he found joint's income for 2013 is a bit low and gave me 221 G paper, he said i should send it with sponsor's paper and within a week I'll got passport with visa. Regardless of this, i was happy i finished a lot of this long way and got a debonair and respectable consul. BTW i submit a consulate review.

I just got the text, that my wife has finished her interview, and "all is well". We won't be able to talk on Skype until she gets back home, but I can't believe our visa journey has reached it's end.

So my husband had his interview this morning and he was approved!!! We are so overjoyed!!!

The CO he had was very nice and asked only a few questions. When and where did we meet, what we both do for a living, and why he want to move to the U.S. He was not asked for 2013 transcripts but he offered to submit them anyway. Because I am living with him in Israel, only the Joint Sponsor's 2013 tax transcripts were taken. They did not want or need mine. They gave him back the originals and told him he will receive his passport in a couple of weeks.

I'm so happy to have had the support of VJ throughout this long 15 month process. I wish all of you the very best of luck in your upcoming interviews and afterwards!

APPROVED my girls IR2 was approved and the ceac site shows it has been issued i.e. printed.. so excited. i hope it is mailed via the courier service before end of next week. Thanks everyone for the encouragement esp Dwheel76, hoping19.

Approved!!! My husband was approved this morning. He said he has too much paperwork. They didn't take our 2013 tax info and it was easier than he expected!

Btw, they say it takes 7 to 10 days to receive the visa in France. As it will be late July, it might be more 10 than 7 days... Are you gonna book the flight in advance?

I will be giving my wife a new I864 and tax transcripts for myself and also an I864, tax transcripts and passport photo page for a cosponsor since I have recently quit my job before our interview date. I have a few questions about how to handle the submission of these documents as they wont be scanned into NVC but instead given to the consulate during the interview:

1) Do I need a new cover letter listing the documents being submitted and why we are submitting it (one reason being I now have my 2013 tax info which we didnt before and the other being that I now have a co-sponsor as I quit my job)?

2) Do I need to include the original bar code cover sheet again?

Hello,

Are we supposed to bring updated "proof of ongoing relationship" items to our interview? I thought that this was already established and approved at the I-130 stage? We have all of the original information submitted at that stage (pictures, skype, plane tickets, etc) but I am wondering if we are supposed to bring updated things like the newer tickets and pictures since then....Thanks.

Unless the immigrant was actually born in another country other than Canada, it's unlikely that proof of ongoing relationship will be required, as Canada is considered a low-fraud country.

I will take a small amount anyways, such as a few emails, photos and proof of my trip there in Sept to visit hubby, screenshots of my skype and email histories which of course show interactions more than once daily, oh and some phone bills.

ah, interesting question, as I've not heard anyone else query whether the bar-coded sheet goes too. I don't believe it's required at all since it's being hand delivered (if even requested at the interview).

I just have completed /updated AOS's from my 'sponsor-group', and the transcripts x 3 yrs each.
