the embassy usually designs two or three doctors for the medical exams.

The designated doctors have all the forms.

If you check on your embassy requirements on travel.state.gov, you'll find out what is needed.

I am so sorry!

Here is an update on my case and my wife's case:

1. I was able to secure a medical exam 2 days before the US Embassy interview on July 2.

2. I received the P4 email confirming the interview date on June 11, one day after finding out on the phone

3. The case is now in transit

4. We called NVC 3 times in the past 3 days to find out more about my wife's case. Here is what we heard:

- although technically "complete", her case was held up for review by a supervisor. This seems to be standard procedure for a few (random?) cases

- there was no particular reason (data) why her case was held up

- today on the phone, the CSR said that the supervisor approved her case yesterday, so it will now proceed to the next step

- yesterday, another CSR told me that interview scheduling for July was completed and that, even if my wife's case was finally complete, her interview would not be until August, at least one month after mine. So, he advised me to send an Expedite Request, explaining that her case was held up with no specific reason and asking for NVC to send the case to the US Embassy in Paris and requesting that they schedule the interview either with mine or shortly thereafter.

Has any one heard of such expedite request rationale and whether it's good enough to have been granted?

This is great for the medical! Was it difficult to schedule this late?

I really think your expedite request can be granted! I don't think the embassy will care to schedule the interviews at the same time. You could send an email to the embassy too explaining your case and see if it would be possible (ie available slots or if the same day would be possible). Keep us updated and good luck!

He is a US citizen, lived in the UK, now moved back to the US. I am French, we met in 2010 in the UK and got married in March 2013 in France.

re medical rescheduling, one of the 2 approved doctors was very accomodating, although she was away that week just before my interview, her replacement was able to give a slot.

- is there a way to tell if the july interviews for kingston embassy is all booked already?

- anyone else from jamaica could tell me their case complete to interview timeline.

Just wanted to give an update on my husband's experience with the medical. He called in advance and they said to come in with his interview letter, no appt necessary. So he went in all the way into the city and then they said go get a blood test and the chert scan and then come back with your results. So he went and did all his tests on the same day, went home and then came back all the way back to town the next day to pick up his results... and then by that point the office for the actual exam was closed so he went hone again and waited till the next day to go back again. He was first in line, only to sit in the waiting room for 3 hours until the Dr got there finally...at which point the receptionist mentions he couldn't actually have his medical that day rather than sending him home right away...so they took his results and he has an appt finally the Saturday before his interview. So disorganized! but we are ob our way at least!

and just finishing up organizing all the docs, gave my notice at work, and been starting to buy gifts for family at home for our return. 12 days left!

I am the petitioner (USC). My husband is Senegalese.

6/10/2013: NOA1

1/21/2014: NOA2 (TSC)

Instead of people trying to chase it down in DHL. Just keep your eyes on the ceac Visa tracker. In Transit NVC has released it and about 3 to 4 days later it will be at embassy.

Just poking my head in here again (was told the IV is under review so I'm hoping to be in this thread soon assuming I wasn't lied to)!

Just poking my head in here again (was told the IV is under review so I'm hoping to be in this thread soon assuming I wasn't lied to)!

Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet

2/27/2020: Combo Interview (ROC and Citizenship)
3/31/2020: submitted service request for being pass normal processing time
4/7/2020: Card being produced
4/8/2020: Approved
4/10/2020: Card mailed
4/15/2020: 10 year green card received

5/21/2019: NOA1 Date
6/13/2019: Biometrics Appt
2/27/2020: Citizenship Interview
4/7/2020: In queue for Oath Ceremony to be scheduled

CEAC says "In Transit"!!!

Going to attempt to DHL track it now.

ETA- tried to track and it didn't work. I'll try again tomorrow. I always ship DHL and I know it takes sometimes a day for it to show up online.

NOA1- NOA2: 316 days

Jan 12, 2013: Married!!
Mar 19, 2013: NOA1

Jan 28, 2014: I-130 approved

NVC- Green Card in Hand: 189 days

Feb 3, 2014: TSC sends case to NVC
April 14: Real checklist for AOS (saying tax number was incorrect when it wasn't)
April 30: Another AOS checklist, for proof of employment (which was already sent)
May 1: Checklist for IV- certified marriage certificate (even though I sent a certified one originally)
July 1: INTERVIEW!!! - APPROVED!
July 16: POE through Miami
July 22: SSN card in the mail
August 30, 2014: Green card arrives in the mail!!!
 
ROC: 366 days
April 27, 2016: Sent 300 page ROC packet to VSC via overnight mail
May 16: Check shown as charged online, received NOA 1 dated April 29
June 20, 2016- Biometrics
April 28, 2017: Approval
May 4, 2017: Approval letter arrived
May 15, 2017: GC arrives in mail
 
N-400: 190 days
May 8: Sent packet to Dallas Lockbox
May 12: NOA 1, Credit card charged
June 7: Biometrics
June 16: "In line"
Oct 2: Interview letter arrives (online status still says ''in line'')
Oct 31: Interview- Approved!
Nov 13: Oath ceremony!  Applied for passport & registered to vote on site.
Nov 22: Passport arrives (paid for expedited service and overnight delivery)
 
Journey complete! A total of 1701 days or 4 years, 7 months and 26 days.
