Thank you Dwheels. Yes, i changed the name, sorry I did not updated the form. Yes, I did submit all the documents W2's from my ex husband but I did not include his income in my affidavit of support because it does not make sense to me. They don't specify if they want to see the orignal forms, they are requesting only the I-864A from my Ex husband. have you hear something like this before? why they want my ex-husband to be included in this process? I am sorry I am just trying to get a better picture of my situation.

I would either go over to the NVC filers thread and ask or post the question on the forum.

It seems to me even though he was part of a tax form you submitted you omitted his income and i would think they are just verifying no more. Long as you quality on your own salary there should be no issue.

I'm dead tired and I all I want to do is go home and relax but my son is graduating high school tonight !! ( yahoooeeeyyy)

Its supposed to pour rain tonight so they moved it inside. 2 kids down and 1 to go. She starts high school in September. WOW my babies are all grown up now ! :crying::cry: Time to have one more before the shop closes :clock::clock:

OMG if I had to move it would be easier to just light a match and throw it on the house !!

How many days did it take for the NVC to send your file to the embassy? I hope they don't hold on to them..

????????????? One more baby ????????????

The darn AP!!! I hope it would be a quick turnaround for you. I had it on two successive non-IV applications myself, and I didn't do anything wrong then either. On one occasion, they asked for all the names and birthdates of my siblings (I do have a common name, and it helped that my parents were very productive LOL). A month after they asked for this information they issued my visa. Pray it won't take longer than that, but do brace yourself for a longer wait and plan your immediate future accordingly.

Thanks MoBar65, but they didn't ask me to visit embassy again... its the same process that i need to collect my visa from a centre.. then how will they ask this information again? Any idea that how much time it can take? Longer wait means???? :(

Interview went very well, i answered all the ques that they asked and i was not asked to submit any of the papers (i was told that all documentation is complete).

Had my interview today............

It went well but then not a gud news though......... :(

CO asked my few questions and asked me to show the wedding album.... then he asked me to wait for sometime and go back to my seat in waiting area......

Then one gal called my name on the other window and asked me to provide some details on the paper (sibling name, previous passport number, countries that i visited , previous addresses and my occupation). I wrote down the details and gave my DS260 for previous addresses. Then she handed over my AP letter :(.

When i asked what do you guys need, she replied CO has asked for this information and thats all that they need. Then she asked me to check status on ceac website.

I don't know what was wrong.... i worked in 2 different countries and submitted original police report from that countries as well. Other 2 countries was just for tourism purpose.

Now when i am checking the status on CEAC website and it shows updated date for today but status is still "READY".... :(

@ dwheels76 : Do you have any idea of this or if u may have came across someone who has faced similar issue?

DOS claims that most APs are concluded within a few weeks. In my case, first AP lasted one month and the second 13 months! I've come across a few rare ones that are pushing 2+ years.

In both my AP cases they didn't keep my passport. At the end of APs the embassy called me on my cell phone and asked me to drop my passport at the embassy compound (no follow-up interview), and visa was issued a few days later. That was back in 2007 and 2009.

I'll be scoring an infamous hat-trick if I get an AP this time around as well.

I need to change our interview date what do I do?

Once you receive your interview date track your casefile. Call NVC ask when your casefile left than you can follow the DHL instructions to embassy. The contact your embassy (email is best) and ask to be rescheduled later, earlier just ask.

* 21 APR 2016 - 90 Days before husbands conditional green card expires

Do not take the whole album. Just take a few (maybe no more than a dozen) pictures of the wedding showing - parents, family, friends, priest, special events like - mangal sutra, garland exchange, ring exchange, sindur etc.

Hi bkghosh,

Just wanted to know how long biometrics would take?

Hi everyone. I am hesitating to book my flight tickets now, as they will be 3 times more expensive if I buy them last minute (ie waiting to receive my visa)... Just wanted to know if I will be the only lady booking in advance? AP can happen to everyone so I am hesitating... :-/

He is a US citizen, lived in the UK, now moved back to the US. I am French, we met in 2010 in the UK and got married in March 2013 in France.

I am having that little feeling in my stomach/anxiety maybe... so that is the main reason why I am not booking the flight ahead.

I just don't want to take my chances.
