Interview was yesterday, it went well and everything was fine, but consul asked for another joint sponsor, he found joint's income for 2013 is a bit low and gave me 221 G paper, he said i should send it with sponsor's paper and within a week I'll got passport with visa. Regardless of this, i was happy i finished a lot of this long way and got a debonair and respectable consul. BTW i submit a consulate review.

Interview scheduled! For July 23rd. A bit disappointed to have a late July one though, as it means I will miss a big family reunion/party there by only a few days... but well I waited since April 2013 so I shouldn't complain! Congrats to everyone!

Woo hoo! I just got the e-mail and almost woke my sleeping baby because I was so excited!!!
Super strange too because I called when NVC opened and they said it wasn't scheduled yet but I got the e-mail just after NVC closed! Woot!

I have no idea why it came at 1:30AM EDT, but WE GOT OUR INTERVIEW DATE in SANTO DOMINGO DOM REP.!!!

Last Thursday evening I found out the case was complete, today I received the email with the July 28th date.

We are beyond excited and I'm a little teary-eyed right now.

I just got the text, that my wife has finished her interview, and "all is well". We won't be able to talk on Skype until she gets back home, but I can't believe our visa journey has reached it's end.
